Asked
How far in advance should I order? +
Custom cake orders generally require 2–3 weeks' notice. Weddings and larger events should be booked 2–3 months in advance whenever possible. During peak seasons, we recommend booking as early as possible. Rush orders may occasionally be accommodated depending on availability.
Is a retainer required to book my order? +
Yes. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date and begin planning your custom order. Your remaining balance is due 7 days before pickup or delivery.
Can I make changes to my order? +
We understand that plans can change. Minor adjustments may be possible before baking and decorating begin, depending on availability and the nature of the request. Significant changes to the design, size, or details may require a revised quote.
What happens if I need to cancel my order? +
Because each order is custom-made and ingredients and supplies may be purchased specifically for your event, the 50% retainer is non-refundable. Any additional payments will be reviewed based on the amount of notice provided and any work or supplies already committed to the order.
Do you offer delivery? +
Pickup is available, and delivery may be available throughout the Bay Area Pickup & Delivery depending on location and schedule. Delivery availability and fees are quoted based on your location and order details.
Do you make wedding cakes? +
Yes — weddings are a specialty. We begin with a conversation about your style, size, flavour preferences, and design vision. Once your design is finalised, your cake is custom created for your celebration, finished in smooth or textured buttercream or rich chocolate ganache.
Do you have allergen or dietary information? +
At this time, Bee Bumble Cakes does not offer gluten-free or dairy-free cakes. Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles common allergens, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. If you have a food allergy, dietary restriction, or ingredient question, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss your request.
What are your prices? +

Do you offer mini cannolis? +
Yes! Mini cannolis are available as a standalone dessert order or as a sweet add-on to your custom cake order. Crisp shells filled to order with delicious toppings. See the Cake & Dessert Menu for starting prices.
Can I request a custom flavor or idea? +
Absolutely! If you have a flavor combination, theme, or dessert idea in mind that you don't see on the menu, we'd love to hear about it. Custom requests are always welcome and accommodated whenever possible.
